The famous music festival, the Island Festival (Sziget Fesztival) is held every year in Budapest on the Hajógyári Island in the Northem part of the city, usually in August. It is being held since 1993, and it grow in volume every year. This is originally a music festival, but there are other types of programs recently with so many visitors coming. You can purchase a daily ticket or a weekly pass in order to enter the island. Prices change every year depending on the quality of the performers.
